Combatives Classes

Forge Fighting Combatives ”FFC” is ran by Instructor Matt Campbell. Matt travels year round training and teaching Elite Military Units and Law Enforcement Departments around the country in the fundamentals of Combatives.

The FFC curriculum includes edged weapons, multiple-blade deployment, edge weapon concealment, projectiles, blade and empty hand grappling, firearms, weapon retention, improvised weapons, blunt weapons, empty-hand fighting, medical management, threat assessment, close quarters combat, and other specialties.

For example a few of the elements that comprise the “empty hand” category of the curriculum are listed below.

Empty-Handed:

• Power Hitting = Teaches you how to hit with your hand as hard as you can kick.
• Panantukan = Filipino boxing is meant to be used in conjunction with the blade. Effortlessly transition from empty hand to edged weapons without changing your combtives
• Silat = Shock entries, stand up grappling, brutal takedowns, neck breaks, cranks, and chokes
• Silak = Blade locking, trapping, or disarming

Each category that makes up the FFC curriculum has its own subsets.
